Temperatures in various parts of the district have plummeted below 15°C, creating challenging conditions for residents and commuters.
The most significant impact has been on travel and transportation. The dense fog has drastically reduced visibility, making it difficult for motorists and causing considerable inconvenience for the general public . The movement of both large and small vehicles, including buses, has been delayed, severely impacting the region’s transport schedule . Locals report that even well into the morning, visibility remains low, making the roads hazardous .
The cold weather and travel delays have made daily life “disorganized” for the local population . Morning routines, especially for those heading to work or for students going to school, have been hit hard, causing widespread distress .
However, the scenic mist has proven to be a silver lining for the tourism sector. Despite the challenges faced by commuters, the foggy, cold weather conditions are attracting a good number of tourists to the area.
